Currently, sites hosted on the XDN are public, anyone can access them using the correct URL.
Is there any way to add password protection or IP whitelisting to restrict unauthorized access to this site?
There isn’t at the moment, though this is high in our backlog. Stay tuned…
@mark.brocato could you use the XDN Traffic Splitting capability to redirect traffic that’s not from certain IPs or doesn’t have certain cookeis or url params to an an environment that has a branch that just displays “coming soon” or something similar?
Yes, that’s a good idea. I know several customers have done this in the past, particularly with a cookie or by whitelisting their corporate IP address range.
